Altimetrik has been recognized by CIO Applications Magazine as the exclusive recipient of “25 DevOps Solutions Transforming Business 2016,” based on our proprietary methodology, reflecting its position in the industry, and is also named among “,” reflecting its broader leadership. This profile has been developed by the CIO Applications research and editorial team based on insights from an interview with Madhavan Satagopan, CTO.
Madhavan Satagopan, CTOThe next obstacle in line is aligned with the ownership of the program. There is often a hesitation in the sponsorship, as the benefits of DevOps need to be understood in a holistic manner. Addressing these challenges, Altimetrik, a Southfield, MI based firm provides collaboration and empowerment to engage the DevOps at one platform for one time investment. “We break the process chain for decision making and turn the focus from transactions to innovations that are the core purpose of DevOps,” states Madhavan Satagopan, CTO, Altimetrik.
Founded in 2012, Altimetrik is a part of $100 million Vattikuti ventures, which promotes research, technology amongst others in the space of Digital Health, Robotic Surgical Equipment, and Financial Inclusion. Altimetrik promotes three approaches in various DevOps engagements—Micro Services Architecture, Dockerisation and Chaos Monkey.
Micro service architecture enables organizations to make changes at the most granular level and provide finer controls in the production environment without affecting the experience. The frugal design framework—dockerisation is useful when creating a scalable architecture and performance design. Chaos Monkey approach helps users to increase their infrastructure robustness, “Chaos Monkey approach brings about the idea of randomly failing infrastructure to push you into a state where your code and infrastructure becomes anti-fragile,” affirms Satagopan.
